PlantMD's photo diagnosis, species identification, and Botanist chat are AI-generated and provided for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for advice from a professional horticulturist, arborist, or agricultural extension service, especially for valuable, rare, or commercially significant plants. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any diagnosis, species identification, or care recommendation.
PlantMD Premium is offered as an auto-renewing monthly ($3.99) or yearly ($24.99) subscription, billed to your Apple ID. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Payment is charged upon confirmation of purchase.
Non-subscribers get a limited number of photo diagnoses (currently 1) and Botanist chat messages (currently 15) per calendar month. These limits may change; the current limits are always shown in the app.
Photos and chat messages you submit are processed as described in the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your photos; you grant us a limited license to transmit them to our processing backend (and Anthropic's Claude API) solely to generate the response you requested.
PlantMD is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for plant loss, property damage, or any other outcome resulting from reliance on in-app recommendations.
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
